Concept: “Face off against interdimensional horrors, a drug-fueled cult and their terrifying god, and the unrelenting predation of the Mutant Centipede Thing!” 
Content: Three new ways to die... in a hole.
Writing: A sculptor's nightmare world of rock, lead, slag, bronze, drugs, and intelligent sinusoidal waves. Grounded and moving surrealism.
Art/design: Dark, textured, and occasionally effervescent images of spectral manifestations.
Usability: Deep vertical shafts with helpful mini-maps add utility and visual suspense.  

All Hail The Necrotoad and Fifteen Fungi on the Dead Man’s Chest

Concept: “All Hail the Necrotoad, three hags terrorize the countryside from their mansion inside a giant undead toad... 
Fifteen Fungi on the Dead Man’s Chest, an alien fungus has infected a crew and their captain”
Content: A hopping toad crawl and a fungal-infested ship crawl. 
Writing: Background that establishes motivation and goals, practical advice on usage, and efficient summaries of fixed and random encounters.
Art/design: A gritty cartoonish illustration style with traditional block text layout aided by effective use of color and emphasis.
Usability: Consistent design choices make these larger dungeons easy to reference. 

D12 Mindbending Mushroom Effects

Concept: “What happens when your players eat a mushroom or plant...? Roll a D12 and find out.”
Content: D12 different psychotropic trips you can take when you eat the thing.
Writing: Highly specific, yet relatable, hallucinations.
Art/design: Yellow where it counts, psychedelic where it doesn’t.
Usability: A sample reference from Temple of Treachery. For those all-natural trips. 

Duncan Hall’s Mörktober 2023 – 31 Tables & Trivilities

Concept: Duncan Hall’s Little Mörktober Calendar of Horrors.
Content: “31 random generators, monsters, items, and so forth made throughout the month of October 2023.”
Writing: A tortuous elaboration from its initial prompts, full of wit and wretchedness.
Art/design: Sketches, photo bashes, full-color illustrations, and doodles in a filthy day calendar format.
Usability: Most fun when printed on a sticky note calendar.

Writing:

Art/design:
Excellent monochrome portraits

Lines demarcate entries and connect them with illustrations 

Forty Fiends

Concept: “From the darkness, they emerged. Of the darkness, they are made.” 
Content: The aforementioned fiends and related diseases, parasites, and tables.
Writing: Themes of infection, subversion, and infestation tie this book of beasts.
Art/design: A mmutilated mashup of tortured illustrations in a stylized but effective layout.
Usability: Rules and description separated and identifiable for ease of reference. 

Fungal Feed - Fruits of Rot

Concept: “Reality itself is decaying and rotting. From the corpse of the old world, mycelium grows and feeds.”
Content:
A random mushroom generator
Writing:
Includes lore, mechanics, and a table for appearances and effects
Art/design:
Relatively reserved with color and some illustrations for visual variety
Usability:
Easy to read and use

Greyson’s Forest

Concept: “Find Mardach's garden and the moshruums within.” 
Content: A secret garden, of sorts. Plenty of fertilizer at least.
Writing: A legend, of unclear message, and plenty of textual evidence it’s about to go horribly wrong.
Art/design: Fuchsia fungi feed mustard trees near a fertilizer-free two-column layout.
Usability: “To be continued...” No, seriously. 

GVix’s Mörktober 2023 – 31 Phantasmagoric Entries

Concept: "31 Phantasmagoric Entries”
Content: “A compilation of all my postcard-entries for Exeunt Press' MÖRKTOBER challenge”
Writing: An impish collection of grisly gifts, ghastly guests, and grim tables for rules and quests.
Art/design: Heavy-bordered postcards of inked and crosshatched illustrations in an array of bright uniform colors.
Usability: Available in individual postcard PDF, or advertisement spread png. 

Hammer of a Killing Crown

Concept: “It’s a simple agreement: You retrieve the artifact. Aalgut exacts his revenge … After that, the unbounded power of the Killing Crown is yours.”
Content:
A dungeon crawl. Bufonic treasures. Murderous Crowns. Toadstools. Toads. Spells. Plague.
Writing: Strong and consistent theme and symbolism. Clear mechanics. Incorporates playing cards.
Art/design: Mörk Borg with toadstools (and toads).
Usability: Aesthetics complement the readability. A breeze to read and reference.

Monsters!

Concept: “A collection of the MOST DISGUSTING and terribly vile MONSTERS!” 
Content: Twenty of them, to be a little more specific.
Writing: Horrendously hilarious creations from tormented traditions. Malformed for the morbidly curious.
Art/design: Sharp points and serrated edges brutalize the darkly patterned forms of this miserable tome, contrasted occasionally by excruciatingly clinical white.
Usability: Richly stylized only where they know you’ll work for it. Legible everywhere it counts. 

Mycogoblins

Concept: “Goblins have been more aggressive than usual lately... these goblins have strange fungal growths... whoever gets to the bottom of this will be greatly rewarded...” 
Content: A goblin swarming, fungus snorting, den crawl.
Writing: Deep absurdity delivered in gloriously understated frankness.
Art/design: Structured design, clear iconography, and magenta highlights stimulate and satisfy the reader.
Usability: Designed with goblins in mind. 

Mycosis

“The Meat Fungus keeps no treasure of its own—but the many adventurers who came before you left some behind…”

Mörky Mycology

Concept: “A world in decline is a veritable paradise for fungi of all kind.”
Content: Fungi, environs filled with fungi, fungus-based class and items, and some mushroom monsters
Writing:
Efficient but with enough detail to spur interest and imagination
Art/design:
Relatively sparse but still under development
Usability:
Very efficient layout for a lot of content
