Art/design: Malformed illustrations in a variety of styles from the public domain and creative commons, and portions of an album cover.

A Feast For A Sphinx

Concept: “In a frozen valley, a winged lion have set her lair in the ruins of the temple of the Golden One. While some may seek to plunder the forgotten temple, rumors says that the winged beast can grant wishes...” 
Content: A golden-voiced sphinx crawl. Emphasis on the crawl.
Writing: A pragmatic and factual account of creeping horror. Revealed progressively in reading and at play.
Art/design: Tri-fold design which in turns obscures then reveals animate horrors along with the text.
Usability: A natural progression and clear design enhance usability. 

A Less Spiky Flail to the Face

Concept: “LET THEM LIVE AND SUFFER!”
Content: Painfully expanded rules for not dying (ever).
Writing: The kind that makes you wish you were dead (in a good way?).
Art/design: Bright pink and pallid blue false color illustration on a field of yellow and black. The spikes have been crossed out.
Usability: References “Death is not an Escape” by Wayward Polyhedral. 

A Teller of Bad Omens

Concept: “You have left your mind in the hands of those from whom one must keep away and now aspire to spread their dark word wherever you go.” 
Content: A dark messenger transformed by darker powers.
Writing: Shadowy origins, eldritch energy, and body horror.
Art/design: A virescent energy lends weight to this cloaked, corpse-painted scvm.
Usability: An effective layout that establishes boundaries and breaks them. 

Abominable Transformation

Concept: “Magic. Monstrosity. Forced Change. Changed Character.” 
Content: An unclean scroll of transformation, and the expected results. 
Writing: Interconnected mechanics producing uniquely abominable lifecycle.
Art/design: A prominent abomination embodied amongst sharp-boxed text descriptions.
Usability: Abominably short. 

All Things Fragrant and Foul

Concept: “Mork Borg can be overwhelmingly nasty. Why not balance that with some beauty? And also add even more misery. 
Content: New rules, eight classes, and an afterlife-spanning adventure. Also sports.
Writing: A meditation on duality. With a serious tone contained within all its dubious fragrance.
Art/design: A highly interactive and reversible design with upright and inverted text interleaved beautifully.
Usability: Designed for print. Flip the book. My condolences to page 5. 

Arcane Intelligence Claw Curse

Concept: “#MÖRKTOBER 3: CLAW” 
Content: Your new claw is sharp, probably sharper than you.
Writing: Swift and cutting claw mechanics.
Art/design: Teeth and claws, it’s Nohr’s whole thing.
Usability: “People instinctively dislike you.” 

Basilica of the False Prophet

Concept: “THEM. A lunatic, convinced he is the one true, basilisk. Skulking in an abandoned church on the far side of the western mountain range, he rants and plots against HE and SHE.”
Content: A desperate descent. An unexpected plunge. A shattered hope?
Writing: Miserable and descriptive encounters, backed by elegant mechanics, make a narrative descent into madness.
Art/design: A masterful balance of utility, consistency, and style. Haunting yet austere illustrations and maps fill but do not dominate the pamphlet.
Usability: Pairs well with Western Wall (also by Rugose Kohn). 

Basilisk Tooth

Concept: “Place this tooth under the tongue before sleep. Upon awakening, the tooth will have taken root.” 
Content: Natural armor with some bite, and a basilisk’s curse.
Writing: A suggestive and narrative introduction to a disturbingly effective relic. 
Art/design: Too much skin showing. It could honestly use a few more teeth.
Usability: Make sure to bathe with fluoride. 

Bloodborg

Concept: “Inspired by the hit video game Bloodborne by FromSoftware... Blodborg is a mashup of the lore and combat systems of these two grimdark fantasy worlds.”
Content: Eight classes, thirty-one monstrosities, and twenty “trick” weapons adapted from Bloodborne.
Writing: Faithfully transplants its bloody pathogens into the Dying Lands.
Art/design: Dark brooding design elements complement weathered and warped illustrations. 
Usability: Bordered text can be difficult to read without increasing resolution. 

Bogfolk’s Teeth

Concept: “We’ll be bringing new molars- er, morsels, of accursed content...” 
Content: Tooth extraction made easy.
Writing: Purposefully perilous dental operations for some twisted new teeth.
Art/design: Got that classic child skull look for extra tooth action.
Usability: Please don’t bite your dentist, it causes infection. 

Bolo Santizeli’s Prosthetics

Concept: “A strange merchant has come to sell prosthetic arms for those who are short-handed.”
Content:
An inventory of replacement appendages with unique benefits and drawbacks
Writing:
Concise descriptions peppered with witty comments
Art/design:

Writing: A full-bodied blend of humor and horror that spares no raw material.

Art/design: Art-heavy poster layouts with detailed adventure text on the reverse side.
Usability: Clean and calculated for reading and reference. 

Creatures of the Dying World 3

Concept: “...in which he mines the alien world of insects to produce Lovecraftian Things that Should Not Be.” 
Content: 19 sanity-shaking creatures. d66 delusional prompts to manage the fallout.
Writing: A thorough mix of indescribable humor and horror. With a fantastical sanity system that won’t take your players out of the game. 
Art/design: Impressionistic and inked illustrations capture both the silly and the strange.
Usability: Text which balances between utility and style from passage to passage.
